Hello Reader,
Climbing the wrong career ladder faster doesn’t make it the right ladder.
Most of us are working with an outdated version of success — often shaped by what others expected from us early in our careers.
Salary. Titles. Promotions. Recognition.
Have you ever stopped to ask yourself: “𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘔𝘌?”
But what if that version no longer fits the life you actually want?
It’s time to pause, reflect, and redefine success for yourself.
Here’s how to start:
𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀:
👉 What numbers or external factors do you focus on? (Salary, title, status?)
👉 What motivates you most about these criteria?
👉 Where might you still be living someone else’s dream instead of your own?
𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆:
👉 How much time do you want for yourself — and what would you do with it?
👉 Which relationships matter most — and how will you nurture them?
👉 What legacy do you want to leave through your work?
👉 How do you want to measure success beyond traditional metrics (freedom, creativity, flexibility)?
Your new definition of success should feel exciting, inspiring, and authentic to YOU — not just impressive on a CV.
And always remember: It’s your career. You have the right to adjust, evolve, and redesign your path as you grow.
You can do it! 🙋♀️💪
